Go away! keeps mosquito away because it emits a high definition frequency, similar to the sound emitted by male mosquitoes, so the fertilized female (the only ones that bite!) stay away.
Go away! keeps flies away because it emits an extremely annoying sound for these insects so they will remain at a safe distance from you and from your iPhone!
Frequencies used for the two sounds, both recorded in high definition between 7 and 9 kHz, can be chosen directly by the user; however we recommend you not to listen on headphones and adjust the volume at a correct level: 40% is perfect for home use, 60% is the right level if you are in a place that is quite noisy (traffic streets, etc..).

The flies did not seem to be affected. Did not use w/ mosquitoes.
Turned it on and held it next to a fly and it wasnt affected at all.
I was hoping this would work for us earlier while having lunch at an outdoor ramen shop. Sadly it did not. My friend resorted to catching flies with chopsticks. He did not catch any but managed to scare them away. 1 star for trying.
